I know there’s been a lot of interest in Toy Story 4 Lego sets – I’ve been curious myself! And although we’ve had a vague list of set titles for a while now, as of today we have our first official look at one of them!
This image was officially released today of “Buzz and Woody’s Carnival Mania.”
A description also came with the image release:
Buzz & Woody’s Carnival Mania! By LEGO
- Join Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Bo-Peep as they explore the games and thrilling rides at the carnival with new friends, Ducky and Bunny
- Complete with a laser cannon, Terrorantulus ride, bumper cars, and an ice cream stand
- Includes Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Bo-Peep minifigures, plus Ducky and Bunny Toy Story figures
This is the same set that was shown on Good Morning America this morning, but too small on that broadcast to really make anything out. It’s great to have a clearer image of it! We know the “Star Adventurer” booth is where Ducky and Bunny are encountered, but I’m really curious to see what this Terrorantulus ride is. It would also be fun to see that bumper cars play a role in the story, but those and the ice cream stand could just be part of the general carnival theming.
More sets will be releasing in the coming months as well. Here’s the list we had from before:
#10766 – Woody and RC
#10767 – Show by Duke Caboom
#10768 – Adventures of Buzz and Bo Peep on Playground
#10769 – Caravan Holiday
#10770 – Woody and Buzz’s Carnival
We now know that RC will be returning at least in the form of a flashback, so that set makes more sense in that context. I’ve also heard that Jessie will be one of the minifigs, so I’m expecting to see her with either the Caravan or Playground.
The rest of the sets might be too spoilery to see anytime soon, but if they do get shared at Toy Fair this weekend, I’ll be sure to pass that info along! And in the meantime, if you’d like to take a peek at past Toy Story Lego kits, there’s a great post by Brick Pals that details them all. Stay tuned for updates as Toy Fair continues – the Toy Story 4 news in just one day alone has been a little overwhelming! I think things are finally kicking into gear!
