As you can guess from the title of my blog, I’m a huge Toy Story fan. I remember going to see the first Toy Story movie in the theater, back in 1995; but it wasn’t until the third in the series came out, in 2010, that I truly fell in love with the toys and their world. I’ve been a Disney and Pixar fan since forever, but something about Toy Story 3 stole my heart.
Why does Toy Story mean so much to me? Well, for one thing, Buzz and Jessie remind me an awful lot of my husband and myself (and our son is very much like Woody). I relate to Jessie on many levels, personally, and see a lot of myself in her. But overall, I’m simply captivated by this motley group of friends who see themselves as family, and who, even though they might not always see eye-to-eye, are always there for each other when it counts.
I decided to start this blog back in 2015, as a place for me to be able to write a little more in detail about the news surrounding Toy Story 4 and Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida than I could on social media. Although I’m not as active on here as I used to be (the internet is a stressful place anymore), I’ve kept it going through the launch of Disney+ and the Lightyear film. Now, with Toy Story 5 in the works, I’ll be posting off and on about that, too!
You can also find me on Facebook and Instagram, and I have fanfiction stories on Fanfiction.net and Archive of Our Own.
