This isn’t a huge piece of news, compared to the clip we got this morning, but it’s still worth sharing since it reveals a name I’ve never heard before in regards to Toy Story 4.
The video was posted today on YouTube by Disney France…
… looking for a girl aged 8-14 to voice a minor character named Harmony, which would be for the French translation dubbing of the film. More details are found on the Dubbing Brothers site listing for the casting call (translated by Google).
Become the voice of a new character from Toy Story 4: Harmony!
The Walt Disney Company (France) and Dubbing Brothers organized from February 11 to March 5, 2019 at 23:59 a casting to find the dubber voice Harmony, a minor character from the animated film Toy Story 4.
So who is this Harmony? That name hasn’t come up anywhere in my searches so far. If she’s described as a minor character, she can’t be too important in the film – or at least we won’t see her in too many scenes. The age range seems to be a little old to be someone who Bo could have belonged to after Molly and before setting out on her own. Perhaps it’s someone the toys will encounter at the carnival? We’ll have to wait and see.
It’s possible we won’t even know about this new character until the movie releases, especially if she’s a minor one. But it’s still a fun little bit of information! And if you or anyone you know lives in France, spread the word! Maybe a kid you know could get the chance to be an official part of Toy Story 4!
