What is an Emmy? Forky found out last night! Congratulations to the entire Forky Asks A Question team – including Director Bob Peterson and Producer Mark Nielsen – for their Emmy win, the very first for Pixar! The “What is Love?” episode received an award for Outstanding Short Form Animated Program.

Well, I said I’d be back if there was news to share, so here I am! I decided to try returning from my social media break after a few months, so we’ll see how things go. And since a little bit of Toy Story related news did occur while I was away, I figured I’d better get caught up!
If you thought that you’d be binge-watching Forky Asks A Question this coming Tuesday, November 12… hold yer horses. It looks like Disney+ will be releasing the episodes weekly, like a true series.
Today we finally got our first glimpse of the new short series Forky Asks a Question, that will be debuting November 12 on Disney+!
Disney’s D23 Expo was held this past weekend in Anaheim, and lots of announcements came out of the event’s panels and presentations. Among those were some new details about the Toy Story shorts Forky Asks A Question and Lamp Life, which will be a part of the new Disney+ streaming service launching this November.
Now that Toy Story 4 is in theaters — and doing wonderfully, I might add — the next thing to look forward to is Forky Asks A Question, which will be coming to Disney+ this fall. During the round of promotional interviews for the movie, a few new details have popped up about the series of shorts, especially from Tony Hale, the voice of Forky himself.
