‘Toy Story 4’ Interview Roundup

The Toy Story 4 cast and crew continue to be busy with their promotional tour, and many more interviews and press appearances have been popping up online.

***** SPOILER ALERT *****
Before you watch any of these videos, be aware that they touch on
things that can be considered spoilers.

It is NOT my fault if you ignore my warning and hear more than you want to.

Listening to those involved with the making of Toy Story 4 has been my favorite way of passing the time these days leading up to the movie’s release — I’m not reading any reviews, the only opinions I care about right now are my own — so while I’ve been searching for new videos every day, I’ve been adding them to this list, waiting to accumulate a nice bunch of them for a post.  And since there is way too much info in each of these for me to even begin to sort through and discuss what’s being said in each, I’m just going to jump right into sharing them.

First up, a couple interviews with Collider.  Director Josh Cooley and producers Jonas Rivera and Mark Nielsen have been making just as many appearances as the actors.

Tom Hanks’ talk show visits are always a joy to watch, and last week’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live is no different.  Watch to the end to see a new film clip!

Have you seen Toy Story 4‘s 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes?  (Haters gotta be loving that!)  The site also shared this interview with Tim Allen and Tom Hanks.

News sites have also been posting videos of their interviews with the cast, including many that were filmed during the press event in Orlando a couple weeks ago.

Entertainment Tonight also shared a video shot at Walt Disney World — this time from Toy Story Land.

Extra spoke with the cast in Toy Story Land as well.

There have been quite a few from the press junket held with the filmmakers in Mexico City — I shared the panel discussion from that in a previous post.

The European premiere of the movie — held June 16 in London — saw Tom Hanks on the red carpet, along with Cooley, Rivera, and Nielsen.

And this interview — by Europa Press, a Spain-based site — I’m guessing is also part of their European press tour.

As would be Annecy, the film festival held in France, which just wrapped up and where Toy Story 4 was previewed over this past weekend.

Lastly, and most recently, Tony Hale was on Good Morning America this morning.  I’m guessing there will be cast appearances on the show all week, to promote the movie, because Keegan-Michael Key is scheduled to be on the show tomorrow.

There haven’t been a whole lot of new TV spots since my last post.  While there has been no shortage of ads for the movie – many of which have now added text, quoting the glowing reviews made by the critics who have already seen the film — they really don’t show much new footage.  One, however, did have some quick new scenes worth sharing.

Just four days to go – three for those of us going to see Toy Story 4 on Thursday!  I feel like these last few days of anticipation will crawl.  I may be back with one more post before opening day, but just in case time gets away from me, and I’m not back on here until after the movie opens — enjoy it!  It’s been a long wait, and I’m so excited to finally see what it’s all about!
