Some new images of Toy Story 4 merchandise have come out over the past few days, so I thought I’d do a quick catch-up post and add to the info I’ve shared before.
Toy Story 4: The Official Guide
I originally posted this book back in September, when it still had a preliminary cover for sales purposes only. Now the official cover art has been revealed! It’s not available for preorder yet, but you can find its listing on Amazon. The best thing about this image is the amazing detail!
Thinkway Toys
There’s another non-interactive (but still moving and talking) version of Forky that’s shown up online, on The Walt Disney Company France website, since my previous post about him. He’s pretty cute!
There are also some different images of the Ducky and Bunny plushes – which, according to this article, now talk and challenge you to a laughing contest. Still no info yet on price, or when any of these toys will be available.
Toy Story 4 Barbie
Pictures were posted yesterday on Instagram by @toycollector6202 and @lookstyledolls that show the Toy Story 4 Barbie in her box, and now that we can see the back of the packaging and the official graphics that match the build-a-forky media kit, her return in the movie sure seems like a definite thing! The synopsis on the back reads:
It’s a new chapter in the lives of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the “Toy Story” gang. From their new kid Bonnie’s house to an exciting road trip, they’ll encounter friends – old and new – and face all kinds of adventures along the way.
What we still don’t know is if she’s become one of Bonnie’s toys (permanently or temporarily for the road trip), or if we’ll be seeing her during the flashback to Andy’s house and Bo’s departure.
Little People RV Playset
I’ve saved my favorite – and the BEST – find for last! A playset named on Brickseek a few weeks ago, listed originally as just the “Little People Disney/Pixar Toy Story 4 RV,” now has the official name of “Jessie’s Campground Adventure” which comes with figures of Buzz and Jessie! Considering that one of the two Little People figure sets includes Buzz, Jessie, Forky, and Rex, I’m surprised – but very happy! – that they are included with this toy, too. The other figure set features Woody, Bo, Ducky, and Bunny, which makes me wonder if the Ferris Wheel playset will have Woody and Bo in it as well.
New York Toy Fair starts next week, so more new toys are just on the horizon! Stay tuned!
