I honestly didn’t think we’d be getting any more trailers before the release of Toy Story 4 in just a little over a month, but now it looks like we actually might be seeing a new one this week!
A couple days ago, Trailer Track tweeted that a new Toy Story 4 trailer had been included with the live-action Aladdin film when it was distributed to theaters:
And in their own article about the upcoming trailer, they showed this image as well:
Although it seemed credible (they’re a reliable source), considering that Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley had tweeted back in March that we were only getting the one full-length trailer, I held back on reporting this bit of info besides just sharing a retweet. Now, after checking the Alberta, Canada film ratings page, it does in fact seem to be true:
This is a great surprise! I don’t really expect there to be much more shown here than we’ve gotten before, but I always welcome whatever little glimpses of the movie we can get. Aladdin officially releases this Friday, with showings starting on Thursday, so the latest Toy Story 4 trailer should pop up online sometime before then. And with this Tuesday marking the one-month mark until Toy Story 4‘s release, I think it’s the perfect time for them to share something new about the film.
Once Aladdin is out in theaters, I think it’s safe to say that Disney will be focusing its full attention on promoting Toy Story 4. Which means we’re getting very close to a flood of new stuff on a practically-daily basis! It seems hard to believe that after four and a half years since the movie was first announced, we’re almost there.
